Bupa Global offers premium medical insurance to customers looking for peace of mind from comprehensive international cover. Members World gives Bupa Global customers the ability to manage their medical policy online. As part of a full redesign and build project I worked with a production team to create an internal launch film to sell the benefits of the new Members World experience.
THE CHALLENGE
Following a successful pitch I was enjoying the challenge of managing a team working on the redesign of a complete medical insurance platform for Bupa Global. As talented UX and UI designers navigated the complexities of international insurance, and the limitations of legacy technology, our client was looking for a way to share the story with an internal audience. How could they communicate the exciting news that a new Members World platform was coming and it would make life easier not only for customers but also for Bupa employees?
THE OUTCOME
Working with the account team we pitched the idea of a short film that would tell the story of a customer making a medical claim using the new Members World experience. Once the story was agreed I teamed up with Tim Keeling (immensely talented Director at One Films) to develop the storyboard, agree the shoot list and select the location. In preparation for filming I worked with our redesign team to identify the optimum screen sequences required to tell the customer story. As Creative Director on the the shoot I was responsible for making sure that each scene matched with the vision for the final film.
